Savvy is 5, Cade is 3, and our days are full. I know I have to intentionally pay attention or I’ll forget what they were full of exactly. And so, these are the days of…
- swimming every afternoon
- coloring, coloring, and more coloring
- holding hands across parking lots
- potty training (Lord, be near)
- playing I spy
- watching Savvy ride her bike
- letting Cade do it himself
- graham crackers
- learning letters, sounds, numbers, oh my!
- building with all the things- blocks, magnatiles, duplos
- watching the trash truck
- looking for motorcycles everywhere we go
- processing the fact that I’m turning 40(!) in November
- marveling at Cade’s ability to keep talking and talking
- road trip to Colorado (loved it!)
- summer fun at Hume Lake and Huntington Lake
- horseback riding for the first time
- beautiful beach trips and sand everywhere
- preparing Savannah for kindergarten
- preparing Mommy for kindergarten
- writing when I can
- loving these little kid days and wondering how a season can go so quickly
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven… Ecclesiastes 3:1
